The Nike Animal Rescue Foundation (NARF) is a non-profit,
all volunteer organization founded in 1985 in San Jose, California
.

Our Mission

NARF is dedicated to protecting dogs and cats.
We strive to eliminate animal overpopulation through spay/neuter programs and public education; our volunteers rescue and shelter cats and dogs in need; we provide veterinary care and locate quality, permanent homes for these animals; and we provide assistance to pet lovers trying to keep or help their own pets.

NOTE:
If you have received a virus/worm with a narfrescue.org return address, be advised it did NOT come from NARF. The Klez worm spoofs addresses so you won't know where it really came from. See what Symantec says at  W32.Klez.gen@mm.

Also, a fake narfrescue.org return address is currently being used in spam. This also did NOT come from NARF.
